Having read other reviews I thought I'd book me and my better half a table for Sunday lunch while we were staying here in our caravan and so pleased I did... We both had the small dinner which at the price of ￡6.95 I thought it was a fabulous deal as you can see from the pic it is!.. I had the pork and my blokey had the chicken and gammon which was absolutely delicious! I asked if there was any chance of some crackling with my pork and oh boy there was, lovely big shards of it serve in a little ramekin...first time I've ever had mushy peas on a Sunday dinner they were sweet and really tasty... Service was spot on too... Got to say I thoroughly recommend this place... I shall certainly be back sooner rather than later.. Oh we got extra gravy too which didn't expect... Fabulous!

Six of us reserved a table for Sunday dinner. We arrived and were showed to our table straight away. Drinks and food were ordered. We had five small Sunday dinners and one regular Sunday dinner. The portion sizes were good and the quality of the food was amazing, especially for the price. We really enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back. I would highly recommend.

Me and my wife had a lovely pub lunch and a few beers here. The lady on the bar was friendly and polite with a warm welcome . The portions were generous and the pub was nice and cosy . Would definitely return one day .

This pub is a must visit. Over the moon it reopened as was a big miss. Great atmosphere and great service. Sunday dinners exceptional must book in advance as always busy. We go for small dinner which is more than enough for us Fresh veg ,thick gravy and meats to choose from beef,gammon, pork and chicken (breast) And must try the cauliflower cheese

Excellent friendly pub with a delicious Sunday lunch also serving Indian food every Thursday. Dog friendly with beer garden.

We stopped off at The Black Bull during our stay in Wolsingham. It was a spur of the moment visit and a change to our plan. The Black Bull has recently opened again after a closure. All I can say is this a good thing for the village and surrounding areas. The staff we met were very friendly and welcoming. They had a nice selection of lagers and beers, with more due on the way. The pub at the time had started doing food in the evenings and Sunday lunches. The Black Bull had a cosy feel. We really enjoyed our time here. We will be back in when we are next in the area.

We came for Sunday dinner. A rare treat as I usually make my own. I highly recommend. The staff from arriving were extremely friendly. They took our food and drink order promptly. My partner ordered beef and chicken, myself chicken and my son pork. The food came in perfect time. All meats were melt on your mouth, the veg was cooked to perfection and the yorkie puds were light and fluffy. We got a Sunday special so desert was included in the price which I thought was good for ￡15.95 (a bargain I thought) even the dinner alone was ￡12.95 which I think is still really good. We did have to bring the desserts home as we were stuffed after our meals but they look yummy for when we are ready for them. A lovely little village pub with a lovely atmosphere.

I believe this pub has recently re-opened after a long period closed and whilst we enjoyed the visit (s) it's a little early to say how good it will get. We had a number of good chats with the bar staff (Robin in particular) which kept us returning. There was no food available but I think this is about to change. Good enclosed beer garden at the rear. Parking a little restrictive but overall worth the visit. I prefer real ales and they don't have any but I still had a good time there with my wife.

Had a lovely meal as a family of 5 . Seated and served drinks really quickly. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Childrens menu also available. Food didn’t take long but Tracey gave the children some board games to play whilst we waited. Which kept us all entertained. I had lasagna which was huge and absolutely delicious. The homemade chunky chips are amazing. We then had dessert and again was gorgeous. Thank you for a lovely night would highly recommend
